Chicken Pesto Pizza_using leftover BBQ chicken_Yum!


Who knew leftovers could taste so good!  Google is such a wonderful tool!  Searched for dinner ideas/what could I make with leftover bbq chicken?  Chicken Pesto Pizza!  

Ingredients include pre made pizza crust (they come in a package of 2) I picked up when making Peach and Gorgonzala Cheese Pizza last week.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup pesto basil sauce

1 pre-baked whole wheat pizza crust
2 cups cooked chicken breast strips

1 (6 ounce) jar artichoke hearts, drained

1/2 cup shredded fontina cheese 


Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F
Spread pesto sauce over the pizza crust. Arrange chicken pieces and artichoke hearts over the sauce, and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until cheese is melted and lightly browned at the edges.


We thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s dish!  Both filling and quite tasty!  And next to no work or clean up!
