Easy Beef Steak & Mushrooms


Dinner has been cooking in crock pot all day.  The aroma when I open the door; I have only one thing in mind....  Fresh loaf of bread & butter or toast and Volia!  Dinner is served!  A bottle of red wine wouldn’t hurt.




Easy Beef Steak & Mushrooms
1 lb steak, cut 1 inch thick
1 or 2 med onions sliced
2 cans of sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can of beef gravy
½ cup of red cooking wine (or the real thing)

Cut meat into 4 serving portions
Place sliced onions in crock pot
Arrange mushrooms over top onions
Arrange meat on top of mushrooms
Stir together gravy & wine and pour over the meat
Cover and cook on slow 8-10 hours
